Eucharist with spiritual food for eternal life on the example of the teaching of St. Joseph Sebastian Pelczar

Abstract

God – our Creator and Saviour – is the giver of temporal and eternal life for each one of us. He left us the Bread of Life to prevent us from stopping in our perpetual pilgrimage from earth to heaven, during which He always assists us. The Eucharist as the Most Blessed Sacrament should be received worthily, in due manner and in full awareness of the magnitude of a gift, which is God Himself. Communion with God was one of the main topics on which Bishop Pelczar focused in his teaching. He wanted everyone to thoroughly get to know and acknowledge the Eucharist mystery.
