Abstract

The Christian understanding of health care is related to loving one’s neighbor. The human body is crucial, but without considering the afterlife, it becomes relevant. The representative of such kind of service is blessed Sister Marta Wiecka. She claimed the greatest purpose of her calling to be a nun was to care after the “neighbors”. Such understanding of love fulfilled her aspiration to sainthood.
