Abstract
The article discusses the subject of health behaviors and their relationship with the sense of life satisfaction among young adults. In order to assess these relations, the research of Subcarpathia inhabitants at the age of early adulthood was carried out. The health behaviors of the subjects were assessed by way of Health Behavior Inventory (HBI) elaborated by Zygfryd Juczyński (2012), whereas, to measure the satisfaction with life, a Scale SWLS E. elaborated by Diener R. A. Emmons, R. J. Larsen and S. Griffin (in the polish adaptation of Juszczynski) was used. The obtained results allow to conclusion that the higher level of health behaviors is declared by young youth, the higher life satisfaction rate is. What is more, women are more eager to undertake pro-health behaviors than men.
