The article shows the results of the research carried out on a sample of secondary school teachers in Rzeszów (N=85) on providing sex services by school students. It was stated that 14% of the opinions are stigmatising, 66% reasonable and 20% of them aim at justifying the behaviour. According to the respondents, the main reasons for teenage prostitution are the following: eroticizing social media, teenagers’ materialistic attitude and traits resulting from the development period. The research participants do not mention the socializing impact of family and school. They neither see any link between providing sex services and the family or school status. Speaking of prostitution aetiology, the respondents also overestimate external factors and minimize students’ own commitment. On one hand, teachers opt for severe institutional sanctions for students serving sex services, but on the other hand, they expect the school to provide more counselling services.
