The subject of current paper is the analysis of the relation between transgression behaviors and Big Five personality traits. Moreover, as part of the supplement, we extended the analysis by adding the context of gender differences in terms of relations between variables. Our paper is based on Kozielecki’s Transgression Model and on the division of transgression behaviors by Ślaski. The online survey was attended by N = 66 adults. As a result of the analyses, we demonstrated a number of correlations between personality traits and transgression behaviors types. We noted a positive relationship between: (1) creative transgression and extraversion, conscientiousness, emotional stability, and intellect; (2) psychological transgression and extraversion, agreeableness, emotional stability and intellect; (3) social transgression and agreeableness and emotional stability; (4) family transgression and conscientiousness and emotional stability; (5) occupational transgression and conscientiousness, emotional stability, and intellect; (6) material transgression and emotional stability and intellect; (7) ethical transgression and agreeableness. We also demonstrated a negative relationship between protective behavior and extraversion. Our results are the starting point for larger studies, in order to more specifically describe both intentional actions in specific spheres of human life and behavior expressions partly resulting from the personality conditions.
