Abstrakt

The article "In a direction of male identity" describes the work with teenage boys seen not only from socialization perspective but also with respect to discovering yourself as a person. Therefore an important part belongs to self-development being understand as reaching the deepest needs and desires - especially by a young person in a crucial process of its identity development. The character of the "In a direction of male identity" workshops is emphasizing of "man's heart" in such way that it is possible to discover what indeed means being yourself - human being. Those teenage workshops describes 4 inextricable dimensions of human existence: physical, mental, spiritual and social. The main idea of educational - therapeutic work focuses on integral vision of man which treats spiritual dimension as crucial for a true self-development. Described anthropologic structure has its own hierarchy in the proposed workshops. It has scientific justification and it is partly - based on psychotherapy according to interdisciplinary concept raised by V.E. Frankl. Trainings of intellect, will, heart and relationships are also a significant part of the workshops. They might become helpful during discovery of male identity.
