Abstrakt

The author uses a systemic approach in psychology of family and typology of family systems proposed by D. Field, she also analyzes the problem of self-esteem and presents the results obtained after examining 158 people (79 couples). Statistical analysis of the results leads to the conclusion that there is a relationship between the correct system of the family of origin from the father's side and high self-esteem in the group of women. The high self-esteem in the group of men was related to the correct family system created by mother. It was also shown that the more correct family system created by both parents gives the higher quality of marriage in the group of women. There was identified a relationship between the incorrect family system from the father's side and the low quality of marriage In the group of men. There was also identified a relationship between the high self-esteem and the quality of marriage In the group of women.
