Abstract
The article presents connections between the religiosity and the quality and durability of the marriages of the wives of the members of Alcoholics Anonymous. The studies make use of Centrality of Religiosity Scale by Huber (C-15; Polish adaptation by Zarzycka, 2011) and the Scale of the Quality and Durability of Marriage by Ryś (1994a). In order to perform correlation, answers of 286 wives of members of Alcoholics Anonymous from all across the country were included. The results presented here confirm all of the hypotheses. It has turned out that the religiosity of the wives of the members of the Alcoholics Anonymous correlates with the quality and durability of their marital relationships (H1): high centrality of religiosity coexists with high quality (H1.1.) and durability of marital relationships of wives of members of AA (H1.2.).
