Abstrakt
This paper’s aim is to examine from the phenomenological point of view the sexual relation. The eroticism occurs in the field of an affective experience in which world doesn't only objectively exist, but also has a value for me. We discover that sexuality appears as a special kind of the perception and intentionality. The erotic perception is pursuing the union of my body with the other’s one. A permanent possibility of treating the other as an object exists in the eroticism. Conducted analyses reveal figures of the objectified and downgraded love. A transcendence of the eroticism is what protects from objectifying. Fertility, vitality, I-other dialectic, non-satisfaction, illusion of the absolute – all those make the sexual drama up, of which religious experience of God as special Other may be one of the possible solutions.
