Abstract

The genogram is a graphic way of organizing the mass of information gathered during a family assessment and finding patterns in the family system for more targeted treatment. This article outlines how, apart from traditional methods of genogram interpretation, it can be also used to achieve essential aims for ericksonian psychotherapy. Especially, the genogram is a useful technique which let to define resources and utilize it for formulate change space.
