Abstract

The purpose of the article is to verify the associations between constructs such as self-esteem, transgressions and self-actualisation behaviors. Theoretical assumptions are conntected with the: Rosenberg's self-assessment concept, transgresive actions of Ślaski, Kozielecki's theory and also self-actualisation behaviors of Unchast. In the own research the following tools were used: SES − Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale, LiZA Questionnaire − Behavior List and Questionnaire Styles Self-actualisation −  KSAS. The study involved 143 adults.  The analyzes showed that there are relationships of different strengths among all the variables included in the hypotheses. Self-Esteem has been associated with transgressive behaviors (spiritual, social, and protective transgressions) as well as self-actualisation styles, without assertive manipulation. The correlation between transgression and self-actualization also have been shown. The strength of the bond depended on the transgressive behavior and the style of self-actualization.
