Abstrakt
The ability to make creative transgressions through which people cross the social, material, and symbolic boundaries, and intend to go beyond what they possess and who they are (Kozielecki, 1987), is particularly valuable in today's dynamically changing world. Creative activities contribute to the development of society as well as to the personal development of young people who are open to novelty and change, and are ready to take controlled risks. The article presents the results of the research on selected personal features (co-occurrence of creative attitude and risky tendencies) among students (n = 217), which largely determine the willingness to undertake transgressive activities. Two standardized tools were used: Creative Behaviour Questionnaire KANH by S. Popek and Multifactor Risky Behaviour Scale by R. Studenski. The research has shown significant positive correlations between the indicators of creative attitudes (nonconformity and heuristic behaviour) and students’ risk-orientation ratios. It has been confirmed that readiness for creative activities, such as taking open, indeterminate and uncertain tasks, is accompanied by the willingness to take risks which may be considered on the one hand as a threat and on the other hand as an opportunity.
