Abstrakt
Cechy zaburzeń ze spektrum autyzmu, takie jak trudności w zakresie umiejętności społecznych i komunikacyjnych, wiążą się ze zwiększonym ryzykiem wystąpienia depresji i lęku. Teoria przywiązania stanowi użyteczne ramy do zrozumienia tych zależności, ponieważ style przywiązania mogą wpływać na regulację emocji i zdrowie psychiczne. W badaniu sprawdzano, czy style przywiązania u dorosłych (bezpieczny, unikający, lękowo-ambiwalentny) pośredniczą w związku między cechami spektrum autyzmu a zdrowiem psychicznym. Próbę stanowiło 130 dorosłych, którzy wypełnili kwestionariusze dotyczące cech spektrum autyzmu, stylów przywiązania oraz funkcjonowania psychicznego. Analizy mediacyjne wykazały, że trudności społeczne – jednak nie deficyty komunikacyjne – konsekwentnie pośredniczyły w związku między stylami przywiązania a objawami psychologicznymi. Styl bezpieczny działał ochronnie, natomiast style unikający oraz lękowo-ambiwalentny, przewidywały zwiększony poziom dystresu psychicznego. Wyniki te podkreślają znaczenie uwzględniania procesów związanych ze stylem przywiązania oraz funkcjonowaniem społecznym w interwencjach skierowanych do osób przejawiających podwyższony poziom cech autystycznych.
