About the Journal

Purpose and scope of the journal

Fides et Ratio Academic Quarterly (ISSN 2082-7067) has been published regularly online since 2010. It is an academic open access academic journal published by the Fides et Ratio Foundation. The Foundation was established at the Fides et Ratio University Society, bringing together faculty from more than a dozen universities, as well as artists and social activists. The Quarterly publishes articles by Polish and foreign authors, which are both research reports and theoretical treatises. The journal publishes texts in Polish, English, French and Italian.

Publications in the Quarterly serve to integrate the scientific community of various universities around a broadly understood interdisciplinary reflection on current scientific achievements related to the problems of love, marriage, family and upbringing, as well as dialogue and communication, life and fertility, and the relationship fides et ratio in science, religion, culture, art and life.

The Quarterly publishes high-level scholarly articles on these issues developed within the following fields: humanities, medical and health sciences, social sciences, theological sciences, and the arts. This interdisciplinarity helps numerous readers see the complexity of the phenomenon and its various dimensions.

We accept for publication only articles of high scientific level, representing an original and in-depth study of a given problem, using the latest professional literature.
