Faith and Reason on the way to union with God. Edith Stein’s view

Abstract

The goal of this article is to analyse Edith Stein’s works to see what she says about faithand reason, which are on the way to union with God. Understanding of human being as a person whois able to get to know the truth is the starting point of this discourse. Then there is analyzed therelationship between faith and reason. As a result of the analysis is indicating a final goal of human –union with God. Next part of this article is about function of faith and reason in each steps of the wayto union with God.
