Abstract

The characteristics of parental attitudes of spouses of higher and lower level of transgression were based on the analysis of data from 75 families, consisting of both spouses of up to 45 years of age and two children aged 10 to 18. The research drew on R. Studenski’s Transgression Scale and M. Braun-Galkowska’s Scale of Family Attitudes. The analysis of the results showed a similarity in the perception of parental attitudes by spouses of varying levels of transgression and by their children. Registered differences enabled a characterization of spouses with higher level of transgression as more involved in the process of education of their children. Such parents create conditions for a better development, and if they are committing educational mistakes, they are able to make their correction and introduce favourable modifications to the family life climate.Key words: educational, family, marriage, parental attitudes, psychotransgression
