Abstract

Raising a child with intellectual disability as a possible cause of existential crisis in nuclear family create a situation, which enforce parents and siblings to undertake new challenge.  It is thought that presence of child with intellectual disability in family brings suffering and grief but on the other hand this situation can be perceive as a kind of power and contribution to personal transgression of family members, especially in Catholic households. There is a necessity to normalise family environment throughout creating conditions which facilitate process of transgression. The main goal is to give a nuclear family opportunity to positive re-evaluate presence of child with intellectual disability in household.
