Abstract
Consideration of the subject of fertility is included in the space regarding love. This is why medical staff is always called upon to have a respectful attitude towards women or couples who consult them on gynaecological or fertility issues. The caregivers know this. However, a particularly vibrant and useful complementary call came to us from the Magister of the Catholic Church 50 years ago through Humanae Vitae, Pope Paul VI's best-known text: to help spouses to combine love and the transmission of life. Indeed, in human ecology, the child is born from the desire of his parents to make one flesh.
This is important both to support couples in their birth control and to provide medical assistance in the event of infertility. In both cases, methods have been developed by researchers to help couples by preserving human ecology: natural birth control methods and, for infertility, fertility restoration, the most well-known method of which is Naprotechnology.
We present here the results of research carried out over the last few decades in this field. A major development is currently underway in this area.
