Abstract
The aim of this study was to assess the extent and content of worries in pregnancy on a sample of women in Poland using a translated and adapted version of the Cambridge Worry Scale. 91 pregnant women filled out the CWS and answered the questiins on their obestrics history. The major worries referred to possibility of miscarriage (CWS mean value 3,45), to the proces of giving birth (CWS mean value 3,35), going to hospital (CWS mean value 3,13) and the possibility, that something might be wrong with the baby (CWS mean value 3,12). The internal consistency of the scale was satisfactory
(α Cronbacha = 0,88).
