Abstrakt
Skuteczna pomoc psychologiczna, pedagogiczna i doradcza kierowana do rodziny wymaga rzetelnego rozpoznania jej zasobów, obciążeń oraz mechanizmów funkcjonowania w sytuacjach kryzysowych jak wskazuje Maria Ryś w swojej książce Psychologiczne uwarunkowania kształtowania relacji w prawidłowych i dysfunkcyjnych systemach rodzinnych. Metody badań (2025), gdzie trafna diagnoza stanowi bowiem podstawowy warunek skutecznego wspierania małżeństw i rodzin. Szczególnego znaczenia nabiera ona w sytuacji choroby i hospitalizacji dziecka, która może naruszać równowagę emocjonalną i relacyjną całego systemu rodzinnego. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest identyfikacja psychologicznych czynników ryzyka a szczególnie resentymentu jako cichego destruktora tych relacji oraz w osłonięcie czynników ochronnych związanych z nasileniem symptomów depresyjnych u matek dzieci hospitalizowanych na oddziale pediatrycznym. W badaniu uczestniczyło 198 matek, których dzieci przebywały na oddziale szpitala powiatowego. Osoby badane wypełniły zestaw kwestionariuszy obejmujący Skalę Depresji, Skalę Pomiaru Satysfakcji i Frustracji Uniwersalnych Potrzeb Życiowych, Inwentarz Jakości Związku oraz Kwestionariusz Resentymentu. Analizie poddano związek między resentymentem, jakością relacji partnerskiej, satysfakcją i frustracją podstawowych potrzeb psychologicznych, aktywnością zawodową, posiadaniem hobby oraz postrzeganym zaangażowaniem partnera w opiekę nad dziećmi i obowiązki domowe a nasileniem symptomów depresyjnych. Uzyskane wyniki w większości potwierdziły przyjęte hipotezy badawcze. Wykazano, że istotnymi predyktorami symptomów depresyjnych są resentyment (r = 0,67; p < 0,01), frustracja; potrzeb autonomii i kompetencji (r = 0,47, p < 0,01), satysfakcja potrzeby kompetencji (r = -0,50, p < 0,01), posiadanie hobby oraz postrzegane zaangażowanie partnera w opiekę nad dziećmi i obowiązki domowe. Szczególne znaczenie miały zmienne relacyjne i motywacyjne, wskazujące na rolę poczucia satysfakcji, kompetencji. Wyniki wskazują również, że czynnikami ochronnymi osłabiającymi związek między resentymentem a nasileniem symptomów depresyjnych są głębokość relacji z partnerem oraz jego zaangażowanie w obowiązki domowe i opiekę nad dziećmi, czy postrzegane wsparcie. Interesującym rezultatem okazało się natomiast to, że posiadanie hobby oraz aktywność zawodowa wzmacniały związek między resentymentem a depresyjnością. Może to sugerować, że w warunkach wysokiego obciążenia opiekuńczego aktywności potencjalnie wspierające czynniki mogą tracić swoje znaczenie ochronne, jeśli matka nie ma realnej możliwości ich satysfakcjonującej realizacji. Rezultaty badania są ważne dla diagnozy psychologicznej obejmującej zarówno indywidualne mechanizmy emocjonalno-poznawcze, jak i kontekst rodzinny. Wskazując także na potrzebę dalszych badań, szczególnie o charakterze podłużnym, które pozwoliłyby lepiej uchwycić dynamikę zależności między resentymentem, jakością relacji partnerskiej, frustracją potrzeb psychologicznych i symptomami depresyjnymi u matek dzieci hospitalizowanych.
