Abstrakt
Adolescencja to czas przejściowy między dzieciństwem a dorosłością. Jego specyficzną cechą jest wrastanie w społeczeństwo, które przejawia się w kształtowaniu tożsamości, tworzeniu własnej, indywidualnej hierarchii wartości, celów i projektu życia. Krystalizacja planów życiowych zakłada określenie ról społecznych, zaś rozwiązywanie dylematów etycznych obserwację środowiska w zakresie ideałów i wartości moralnych. To wszystko sprawia, że dorastający mogą doświadczać wielu problemów, a zachodzące procesy w rozwoju poznawczym i emocjonalnym mogą je potęgować. Aby ten okres rozwojowy był dla młodego człowieka satysfakcjonujący i pełen osiągnięć rozwojowych wiele zależy od jakości kontaktu psychicznego między dorastającymi a rodzicami, czego wyrazem jest komunikacja interpersonalna. Rolą tejże komunikacji nie jest jedynie przekaz informacji, ale także wyrażenie uczuć, nazywanie potrzeb, komunikowanie oczekiwań, ujawnianie przeżyć. Taki rodzaj komunikacji sprzyja rozwojowi moralnemu dorastających i swobodnemu kształtowaniu tożsamości. Artykuł zawiera charakterystykę rozwoju młodzieży w okresie wczesnej i późnej adolescencji ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem charakterystyki relacji interpersonalnych oraz praktyczne wskazówki dotyczące budowania relacji między rodzicami a dorastającymi w oparciu o komunikację.Bibliografia
