Abstrakt
Głównym celem badania była adaptacja narzędzia Family APGAR Smilksteina do realiów polskich oraz ocena jego rzetelności i trafności w kontekście właściwości diagnostycznych i przydatności w badaniach naukowych. FAPGAR stanowi samoopisowy kwestionariusz typu papier-ołówek, składający się z pięciu stwierdzeń odnoszących się do funkcjonowania rodziny w pięciu wymiarach: adaptacyjność, partnerstwo, rozwój, afektywność oraz rozwiązywanie problemów. W badaniu wzięło udział 312 dorosłych osób (156 kobiet i 156 mężczyzn) pozostających w związkach małżeńskich trwających od jednego do 35 lat. W badaniu zastosowano również Skalę Dostosowania Diadycznego (DAS) autorstwa Spaniera oraz Skalę Oceny Rodziny (SOR) Margasińskiego, opartą na Skalach Oceny Elastyczności i Spójności Rodziny (FACES-IV) według Olsona. Trafność oraz rzetelność skali analizowano przy użyciu odpowiednich metod statystycznych. Uzyskane wyniki wykazały istotne korelacje z rezultatami pomiarów funkcjonowania rodziny za pomocą innych narzędzi diagnostycznych. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych analiz można stwierdzić, że FAPGAR uzyskał zadowalające wskaźniki rzetelności i trafności. Wyniki wskazują, iż narzędzie to może być z powodzeniem stosowane w warunkach polskich zarówno w badaniach naukowych, jak i w praktyce klinicznej. Może okazać się szczególnie przydatne dla lekarzy i specjalistów opieki zdrowotnej w ramach przesiewowej oceny i wstępnej diagnozy funkcjonowania rodzinnego pacjentów.
