Abstrakt

W artkule omówiono problematykę zależności  między inteligencją emocjonalną dzieci i młodzieży a ich funkcjonowaniem w bliskich relacjach rówieśniczych. Zajęto się w nim takimi wskaźnikami funkcjonowania interpersonalnego, jak sposób spostrzegania i oceny danej osoby przez jej otoczenie społeczne, jej popularność i akceptacja w grupie rówieśniczej, a także jej skłonność do zachowań aspołecznych i agresywnych wobec koleżanek i kolegów. W artykule poruszono również problematykę podnoszenia efektywności funkcjonowania interpersonalnego dzieci i młodzieży poprzez rozwijanie u nich inteligencji emocjonalnej.
